In the consulting room you can confidentially discuss the concerns you have about your pets health and well-being with the veterinary surgeon.
Please feel free to raise any issues, no matter how delicate you may feel they are. Our vets have the experience and understanding to appreciate these difficulties and can offer sympathetic help and advice.
The consulting rooms are equipped with medicines and basic diagnostic equipment for routine examinations.
The practice management computer network is connected to all areas so that case records are available to the veterinary surgeon at all times. The system also enables us to send reminders for the annual health check and booster vaccinations together with holding all financial and invoicing details.
There is a viewing screen so that X-rays can be shown to clients and problems explained. A refrigerator keeps vaccines and medicines at the correct temperature.
When problems arise that need in depth investigation or surgical intervention it will be necessary to arrange to admit the patient for these procedures. An appropriate appointment will be arranged unless the problem is urgent when the patient will be admitted immediately.
We have facilities for Blood tests, X-Ray, Ultrasound Scan and ECG. The veterinary surgeons carry out a wide variety of both routine and more complex operations.
Our laboratory blood analysis equipment provides rapid results for tests like kidney and liver functions so we can quickly assess new conditions or monitor ongoing problems. We also have access to an external laboratory for more defined testing.
